Abigail Dolinger – Sew There! Quilts and More
A native of Culpeper, Virginia, Abby learned needle crafts from her family and 4-H leaders. As a young girl, she hand pieced Four Patches with her grandmother. In 1976, during the U.S. bicentennial, Abby discovered quilting. She is passionate about bed quilts, baby quilts, and wall quilts, drawing inspiration from both traditional quilt blocks and the Modern Quilt Movement. Abby enjoys the challenge of designing within specific parameters. After graduating from seminary, her husband, Ran, joined the Army as a chaplain, leading to a thirty-year trek across the U.S. and Germany. Along the way, she formed lasting friendships with fellow quilters, drawing inspiration from her experiences. Quilting friends are the best! Abby’s designs have been published in various quilting magazines, and she teaches classes at Sew There! Quilts and More in Angier, NC. She offers a free block-of-the-month on her blog.
